Well, folks. So far, we’ve exposed our laminate flooring to all kinds of torture, the most recent being a bunch of chickens.
We’ve left some of the, uh, refuse to stand over the weekend. It’s pretty corrosive stuff, as is all bird, um, stuff. Roofers the world over will tell you that.
Let’s see how our Toklo laminate floor has done. Here’s Marc and Matt to give you all an idea of where we’re at today!
So with weather changes, rain, snow, hockey tape scuffs, chickens, knives (apparently!), and all of the normal stuff that outdoor flooring is exposed to, our floor seems to be dirty, but happy.
But, our creative, or should I say destructive, juices are flowing.
IT AINT OVER YET!
Cheers!
Rob.

I am a believer!
Are you a believer in the floor, or in our ability to wreck it? I think the floor is winning…
Good luck with your test, although seriously what type of damage do you really think chickens would do?? I purchased some of your top of the line bamboo flooring in 2006 that is absolutely beautiful. I read all the ratings, research and even talked to a specialist at Build Direct. Love the floor but am extremely disappointed that the laminate clear coats do not hold up to our dog (even with his nails trimmed). There’s only 2 of us in the house with our Golden Retriever and you would not believe the job he’s done to the floor. If you’d like a challenge to your flooring get a large dog!!! Any recommendations on how to refinish the floor would be much appreciated. I really am serious on what to do to refinish this floor.
