You might try mic'ing the thickness of a plank and than setting the plank about 6 inches over a bucket of water for 24-48 hours. After the time is up mic the thickness again and record the change. Several years ago I tried that with several name brands and had some eye-opening results. Hopefully, there have been some water-resistant improvements since then. John S. Good idea!
