Our Victim: Toklo Laminate Flooring
To round things out a bit, we thought we’d tell you all a little bit about our victim; Toklo laminate flooring. This is a BuildDirect house brand. But, incorporated into the construction of the floor is a patented locking system designed by those who really know their stuff when it comes to laminate floors – Pergo. You may have heard of them.
Laminate flooring is most vulnerable to wear and to moisture damage at the joints where the locking system connects one board to another. Thanks to Pergo’s patented locking system, the Toklo floor is designed to be the most stable, and resistant flooring available. And of course, this is a glueless system and designed to be easy to install as well.
Another area where the laminate flooring board is vulnerable is the edges. Toklo laminate flooring is treated with what’s called a waxed edge. And the core of a Toklo laminate floor is made with real wood, not HDF. This lends the floor even more resistance to moisture.
And like all laminate flooring, Toklo floors have been tested to international standards at the manufacturing level for fade resistance, burning (from cigarettes!), impact resistance, stain resistance, even termite resistance.
For more detailed information, check out the Toklo Laminate Flooring Fact Sheet.
But, instead of taking this as run-of-the-mill marketing stuff, we know you’d rather see us try to destroy it by exposing our laminate flooring to the excesses of the elements and the vagaries our twisted imaginations.
I hope you have as much fun watching as we do destroying!
Cheers!
Marc and Rob.
BuildDirect.
